RESULTS OF THE 2009
FLINT BODYBUILDING
CHAMPIONSHIPS
APRIL 4, 2009
The Flint Bodybuilding Championships was a show loaded with some of
the best competition this year. When we say best, we are talking about
quality. Although this year's show was a small show, you still can't beat
the condition that these competitors were in. You can tell from the time
that they walked on stage that they had trained long and hard and had
dieted greatly for a long time. The show went well, and with the fine
job that the judges and announcer Dave Duhon displayed, the show ran very
smooth.
There was only one female competitor in this year's Competition and she
looked great. Being the only one competing in her division of women bodybuilding,
she showed all women who may be thinking about competing what a good physique
looks like.
The novice one class was a very impressive class. This is a division for
first time competitors. But looking at the quality of these competitors,
you would find it hard to believe that they were on stage for there first
time. The short class was so afraid at the prejudging show until they
all almost had to be physically pushed on to the stage. By the time the
evening show came around, you hardly could keep them off stage. They were
having a good time. Winning the overall in the novice division was George
Lenier with his very hard physique.
Winning the overall in the men open division for the second year in a
roll was Nick Monroe of Imaly City Michigan. Looking almost one hundred
percent better than he did last year.
